C/C
composites

Carbon fiber-reinforced carbons (C/C) are advanced composite materials that combine a carbon matrix with carbon fibers, delivering exceptional strength, toughness, thermal shock resistance, and low thermal expansion. These unique properties make C/C composites the material of choice for demanding aerospace and motorsport applications where performance is critical.
Drawing on extensive expertise in carbon-based materials, we design, manufacture, and characterize advanced C/C components engineered to perform under extreme operating conditions. From fiber selection and reinforcement architecture to process optimization and additives selection, every stage is carefully controlled to develop tailor-made solutions featuring complex geometries and multi-scale structures.
Our C/C technologies have been successfully applied to high-performance applications, including brake discs and pads for Formula 1 cars and solid rocket motor nozzles.
Dedicated thermal processing facilities include CVI and graphitization furnaces operating up to 2400 °C, with additional carbonization capacity currently under development. Comprehensive in-house characterization capabilities ensure that every component meets the stringent requirements of performance, reliability, and quality demanded by aerospace and motorsport applications.
